Urban Revolution Martial Arts was founded by Joe Granieri & Julia Levy in 2012.  They are originally from Jacksonville, Florida under the instruction of Grand Master Bill Clark.  

 

After almost 2 decades of training and teaching Martial Arts in Florida, they decided to further their career and build a family together in North Carolina.  Mr. & Mrs. Granieri had been teaching for 4 years in Charlotte prior to opening URMA (2012-2020) in South Charlotte.  Due to COVID restrictions and uncertainty   moving back to Florida closer to family and friends was the best option. 

 

Through their Martial Arts Instruction, they have taught over 3,000 families in the Jacksonville, Raleigh, and Charlotte areas. In addition to teaching in the academy, they have also been volunteers for local elementary, middle, high schools, as well as National Fundraisers, Commercials, and many other exciting projects.
